Senior Engineer DevOps (f/m/d)

As a Senior Engineer DevOps (f/m/d) within the software & tools team, you will be an agent of progressive change, modernizing software development practices while building an Infineon-wide DevOps platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing and designing state-of-the-art infrastructure platforms to streamline customer releases and enable reproducible builds across hundreds of software projects.
• Scaling best practices and processes via automation.
• Collaborating with software teams, central departments, service providers, design services, and IT.
• Organizing knowledge sharing sessions and training on software infrastructure.
• Representing the software & tools team in cross-divisional working groups.

Candidate Profile

You enjoy autonomy and responsibility. You are decisive, self-driven, and capable of making decisions amidst uncertainty. You can switch between source code and architecture levels with ease and lead by example. You value teamwork, openness to new ideas, and continuous learning about the latest technological developments.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of practical experience or a strong desire to learn infrastructure topics.
• Practical experience with infrastructure tech stack such as Gitlab CI, C/C++, Python, Docker, git, bash, CMake, Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management, modern build systems, and software development methodologies including agile.
• Understanding of software infrastructure for embedded systems and System-on-Chip.
• Previous experience with startups and mid-sized companies.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
