Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled backend engineer in Germany to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based cybersecurity back-ends. You will architect distributed systems for endpoint management, focusing on sensor telemetry and debuggability across microservices.

Responsibilities include building scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability through monitoring and testing, and guiding teammates in code reviews and best practices.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.
• Experience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and service mesh patterns.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP, managed services (RDS, Lambda, S3), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), auto-scaling, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-region deployments.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience building REST or equivalent APIs using Spring Boot/Gin, HTTP methods/status codes, JWT/OAuth, API versioning, rate limiting, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Proficiency in backend development using Go, Python, or Java, including frameworks, concurrency patterns, performance optimization, and production-grade application development.
• Troubleshooting and debugging distributed systems using Jaeger/Zipkin, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and root cause analysis.
• Experience collaborating in coding environments, refining designs, participating in code reviews, and managing pull requests.
• Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.
