The Martabe Gold Mine, managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources, spans an area of 30 km² under the sixth generation Contract of Work (COW), covering a total of 1,303 km². Located on the west side of Sumatra in Batang Toru Sub-district, North Sumatra Province, the mine began full production on 24 July 2012. As of 30 June 2022, it holds resources of 6.5 million ounces of gold and 64 million ounces of silver, with an operational capacity exceeding 7 million tonnes of ore annually, producing over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver each year.
PT Agincourt Resources employs over 3,000 personnel, approximately 99% of whom are Indonesian citizens, with more than 70% from local villages. The company is predominantly owned by PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN), holding 95% shares, which is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (60%) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara (40%), part of PT Astra International Tbk. The remaining 5% shares are owned by the South Tapanuli District Government and North Sumatra Provincial Government.
To strengthen the MPDS team and achieve departmental objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is seeking candidates for the role of:
Senior Engineer – Mine Planning (MPDS 2305038)
This position is based at the Martabe Site within the MPDS Department and reports directly to the Superintendent – Strategic Mine Planning.
The Senior Engineer – Mine Planning will assist the Superintendent in strategic mine planning, focusing on project development studies, life-of-mine (LOM) planning, cost management, budgeting, and design aspects.
