Vodafone is seeking a Senior Energy Expert for Vantage Towers in Germany. The role focuses on grid connections, energy management, and project delivery within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

You will work with DSOs across Germany, assess offers, manage budgets, and drive data-driven improvements while ensuring on-time, in-budget outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• University/Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and German (C1).
• Experience in energy management and infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder and conflict management.
• Analytical thinking with risk management and a can-do approach.

• You engage with DSOs to resolve technical and commercial issues related to the grid connections.
• You follow up with DSOs to expedite grid connection offers issue received.
• You communicate, and manage budget for projects and are accountable for quality and on-time/in-budget execution and outcome delivery.
• You analyse data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics.
• You support internal and external project teams in project delivery.
• You maintain internal tools for inventory and process management data.

Your Responsibilities:

You apply for grid connections to the respective DSOs across Germany and assess grid connection offers from a technical and commercial point of view

You engage with DSOs to resolve technical and commercial issues related to the grid connections

You follow up with DSOs to expedite grid connection offers issue received

Your Profile

University degree/Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

At least 3 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years in energy management, property management or infrastructure sector

Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and German (at least C1 level)

Experience in energy management and implementation of energy projects

Strong stakeholder management and conflict management

Strong analytical thinking, risk management and can-do approach
