Vodafone’s Vantage Towers unit in Düsseldorf seeks an ICM Senior Expert (Deployment) to lead end-to-end rollout strategies across markets, delivering unified governance for new sites, colocation, upgrades and smart infrastructure.

You will work with local delivery teams in Europe, optimize deployment performance, and provide trusted engineering insights to design cross-market tower solutions while reporting KPIs to leaders.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
• Extensive background in mobile telecom, portfolio/program management, and deployment.
• Fluent in English (C1); German a plus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deployment Strategy & Governance: You define and drive end-to-end rollout strategies and establish unified cross-market governance for new site builds, colocation, upgrades, and smart infrastructure programs.
• Cross-Market Execution: You work hand in hand with local delivery teams across international markets to align priorities, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate operational risks.
• Performance Optimization: You analyze deployment performance metrics to catch bottlenecks early, implement process improvements, and drive digitalization and automation.
• Technical Partnership: You serve as a trusted technical expert, offering experienced engineering insight and proposing cross-market tower solutions according to TowerCo best practices.
• Unified Reporting: You maintain transparent reporting and unified tracking mechanisms to give leadership and market teams a clear, reliable view of KPIs and delivery milestones.

Your Profile:

• Educational Background: Successful university degree with a focus on Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar field.
• Professional Experience: Extensive background in mobile telecom technologies, portfolio/program management, and telecom infrastructure deployment (TowerCo experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in new site builds, colocation, upgrades, active and passive infrastructure, and various site typologies (e.g., rooftops, monopoles, IBS/DAS, smart solutions).
• Soft Skills: Independent, systematic, and target-oriented approach with strong communication, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (C1 level required); German language skills are a plus.

At Vantage Towers we operate in 8 different European countries. This role will be based in Düsseldorf, Germany with trips to operational markets (Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic additionally to Germany).
