Senior Electrodialysis Engineer

Your mission

Design and optimization of the electrochemical cell and process of our DAC technology to create a robust and mass-manufacturable product.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Berlin-based startup. Your primary focus will be on the design, execution, and optimization of lab and industrial-scale testing related to our electrochemical cell processes. You will be working within an interdisciplinary team of experts in material science, electrochemistry, modeling, and process engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & optimize the electrochemical process
• Highlight and solve process challenges connected to the electrochemical cell
• Support the creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and simulations for process optimization
• Consider solvent composition, kinetics, and energy consumption for the electrochemical process
• Mentor and support junior process engineers and testing engineers

Your profile

Skills and Experience

• Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of work experience in designing and optimizing electrochemical processes
• Familiarity with P&IDs and process simulation tools
• Proficiency in using lab equipment and software for data collection and analysis
• Work experience in operating electrochemical systems, building prototypes, and operating systems at different scales

Other Requirements
