The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply.

(Senior) Electrical Engineer - Leased Labor 18 Months (m/f/d)

Your mission

• You would be managing, conducting and maintaining the Innovation and R&D laboratories for Solar PV domain
• You would conduct experiments with the R&D teams and be able to document the results
• You take key responsibility of maintaining Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards for Solar PV laboratories
• You will liaise with various stake holders of the Innovation lab and Proof of Concept (POC) laboratories related to Solar PV tests

Your areas of expertise

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equal ant qualification in related discipline
• Prior experience in laboratory management and basics of EHS is a plus
• Good working knowledge of the basic electrical laboratory test equipment
• Be familiar with Solar PV Inverters or similar products
• Proficiency in English as a working language (Proficiency in Chinese or German is a plus)
