Our client is an innovative, rapidly growing company in the field of sustainable lithium extraction and renewable energies. With their lithium plant, they make a crucial contribution to the decarbonization of European industry and to securing a sustainable lithium supply in Europe.
They are looking for a full-time (40 hours) Senior Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)
Work model: Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering planning and implementation for large industrial plants, e.g. in chemical, oil & gas or food production.
Main responsibilities
- You will contribute to defining the scope of services and requirements for our contractors.
- You will support the team in the design review of deliverables such as single-line diagrams (SLDs), circuit diagrams and design procedures and specifications according to technical requirements.
- You monitor the progress of the electrical engineering activities and report to the project manager.
- You ensure that all electrical engineering requirements from the various specialist areas are recorded and documented.
- You coordinate the interfaces to other disciplines, check and approve the associated layout and electrical documentation.
- You will participate in design meetings, interdisciplinary reviews and 3D model reviews.
- You represent the company in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for electrical components.
- You provide technical support to the procurement and design team.
- You represent the company in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and the commissioning of electrical subsystems.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- You have a complete Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree with extensive professional experience.
- You bring experience in the electrical engineering planning and implementation for large industrial plants, e.g. in chemical, oil & gas or food production.
- You have good knowledge of the German regulations and rules for electrical installations.
- You have experience in the design, installation and/or commissioning of low, medium and high voltage networks as well as associated protection and control systems.
- You have proven experience in managing design projects from the concept phase to the creation of construction-ready documentation.
- You are proficient in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
- You are characterized by attention to detail, analytical thinking skills and problem‑solving abilities.
- You have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills, both internally and externally.
