Exyte is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to lead planning, calculation, and execution of power supply systems in international projects. You will take on technical leadership responsibilities across disciplines and mentor junior colleagues.

The role requires designing medium/low voltage systems, performing load flow and short-circuit analyses, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and construction sites. Willingness to travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university studies in the field of engineering (Bachelor or Master).
• Extensive years of professional experience in design of electrical power supply systems.
• Good English and German language skills, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel and work at construction site.

Discover your exciting role as a Lead Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) in international projects, where you will lead the planning, calculation, and execution of power supply systems while taking on technical leadership responsibilities.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Project planning, calculation, and installation execution planning of electrical power systems
• Knowledge of special design and calculations for electrical power supply systems
• Component selection with definition of technical specifications and data sheets
• Adherence to budget, quality and schedule requirements within the different projects
• Managing of electrical engineer teams in international projects
• Leading of meetings with clients, vendors, contractors and other discipline engineers
• Coordination and control of the interfaces with other disciplines and individual trades
• Work closely within the project team, with other disciplines as well as with engineering companies
• Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, codes of practice and compliance with specifications
• Taking on projects with primary responsibility and mentoring new colleagues

Show your expertise

• Design and calculation of electrical power supply systems (medium and low voltage systems, compensation, distribution boards, UPS, Diesel-Gen-Sets, lighting systems, electrical busbars, etc.) depending on different project phases (concept, basic, detail design)
• Calculation of electrical systems including load flow, short circuit, and selectivity analysis
• Design of cable installation systems (cable ladders, cable trays, trenches, etc.)
• Design and specification of electrical drives
• Design of earthing, lightning protection and overvoltage protection systems
• Completed university studies in the field of engineering (Bachelor or Master),
• extensive years of professional experience in design of electrical power supply systems
• Experience in design of Advanced Technology Facilities preferred
• Experience in leading of project teams
• Confident handling of common computer programs and MS Office applications
• Ability to work in a team, initiative and commitment as well as a high degree of flexibility
• Good English and German language skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel and work at construction site
