Exyte in Dresden is seeking an experienced electrical engineering professional to plan, design, and estimate costs for advanced electrical systems in semiconductor, BioPharma, and Life Sciences facilities. Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical education.
• At least 5 years of experience leading, planning, constructing, maintaining, or commissioning electrical systems.
• Experience in high-tech facilities such as semiconductor or BioPharma industry and knowledge of design and calculations.

Aufgaben

• Plan, design, and estimate costs for electrical systems in high-tech facilities (semiconductor, BioPharma, Life Sciences).
• Develop concepts for all design phases (Concept, Basic, Detail) and communicate them to clients.
• Define documents (specifications, drawings, descriptions, technical specs, BOQ) and be responsible for their creation.
• Accountable for budget, quality, and schedule; lead engineering activities and coordinate project schedules with PMs.
• Create tasks for subcontractors; monitor and control execution; ensure safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
• Define and coordinate interfaces; ensure reliable information flow internally and externally.
• Lead and coordinate project meetings, factory acceptance tests and on-site tests.
• Lead and oversee installation of electrical systems.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• You are responsible for the planning, design, and cost estimation of electrical systems in high-tech facilities within the semiconductor or BioPharma and Life Science industry
• You develop concepts for all project phases of the design (Concept Design, Basic Design, Detail Design) and possess strong communication skills and expertise to convincingly represent them to our clients
• You define the necessary documents (e.g. specifications, drawings, functional descriptions, technical specifications, bill of quantities) and are responsible for their creation
• In your role, you are accountable for budget, quality and scheduling requirements, and leading engineering activities and coordinating project schedules with project managers
• You create assignments for subcontractors, monitor and control their execution, ensuring the highest quality of implementation and compliance with safety, health and environmental protection requirements
• You define and coordinate interfaces, ensuring a reliable flow of information internally and externally
• You lead and coordinate project meetings, factory acceptance test and on-site acceptance tests
• You lead and oversee the installation of electrical systems

Show your expertise

• You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or possess another equivalent technical education
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the leading, planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of electrical systems
• Ideally, you have experience in the field of high-tech facilities, such as the semiconductor or BioPharma industry, and knowledge of specific design and calculations, including:
• Lighting calculations (DIALUX, Relux) for normal and emergency lighting
• Planning of cable routing systems (ladders, cable trays, etc.)
• Planning of busbars including junction boxes for power distribution
• Lightning protection and surge protection
• Integration of ATEX explosion protection requirements into relevant systems
• You are familiar with relevant technical standards, regulations and codes
• You enjoy working in an international team and speak fluent German and English
• Teamwork, initiative, dedication, and a high degree of flexibility (e.g., travel to customers, suppliers, and construction sites) are natural for you
