Electrical & Instrument (E&I) Engineer

An Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with a pharmaceutical background is required for a long-term project near Frankfurt. This role involves ensuring the reliability, compliance, and efficiency of electrical and instrumentation systems in manufacturing and laboratory environments, maintaining GMP standards and regulatory compliance per EU and German pharmaceutical regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Equipment Calibration & Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain laboratory and process instrumentation (e.g., UPLC, TOC analyzers, osmometers) according to GMP standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with pharmaceutical regulations, including EMA, GMP, and German authorities like BfArM.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues in cleanroom and sterile environments.
• Project Management: Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records, calibration logs, validation reports, and SOPs.
• Collaboration: Work with quality assurance, production, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• E&I Design & Planning: Use E-Plan software for electrical design and planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or laboratories.
• Expertise in process instrumentation, electrical systems up to AC415V, and troubleshooting complex pharmaceutical equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• GMP, FDA, EMA, or German regulatory training is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in German and English at a professional level is required.
