About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in high-voltage systems (110kV and above) for a major data center project based in either Berlin or Frankfurt . This is a 12-month freelance engagement , ideal for professionals with a background in mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering, review, and supervision of high-voltage systems (110kV+)
• Interface coordination with EPC contractors, utilities, and client stakeholders
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover of HV infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with German electrical regulations (VDE, DIN, etc.)
• Contribute to safety, quality, and technical performance across all project phases

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience with high-voltage (110kV+) systems, preferably in data centers or substations
• Solid knowledge of German electrical standards and installation practices
• Minimum German language level : B2+ (required for on-site coordination and documentation)
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Valid freelance status and eligibility to work on-site in Germany
