We invite you to become part of our dynamic Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, which specializes in implementing exciting general planning (EPCMV) projects in the thrilling world of the pharmaceutical industry.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Your responsibilities in relation to our client include:

  • Supporting well-known clients in the pharmaceutical industry during both the planning and on-site execution phases
  • Developing and further enhancing strategies, concepts, and standards across all HSE areas within project work
  • Ensuring, planning, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing applicable regulations, rules, and standards related to occupational health, safety, and environmental protection within projects
  • Participating in and moderating risk and process analyses (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP/PAAG, etc.)
  • Evaluating explosion protection within processes
  • Assisting in the preparation of explosion protection documentation
  • Managing regulatory engineering and tracking construction-related requirements
  • Ensuring construction site safety through on-site safety walks

Your internal responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and monitoring programs and policies that ensure health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Participating in Occupational Safety Committee (ASA) meetings and conducting employee training (e.g., general workplace safety, ergonomics, construction site safety, etc.)
  • Identifying and minimizing risks, revising and preparing risk assessments, including conducting safety inspections and following up on corrective actions
  • Processing accident reports, compiling accident statistics, and implementing measures to improve working conditions
  • Organizing fire safety and first aid training sessions, as well as evacuation drills
  • Actively collaborating with our international Pharmaplan locations, our sister company, and parent company, while strengthening the company’s profile in HSE consulting services
Show your expertises
  • Successfully completed studies in safety engineering, pharmacy, or engineering sciencesExperience/qualifications as a safety officer for occupational health and safety or as an HSE specialist are desirable
  • Practical experience in the fields of environment, energy, occupational safety, and fire protection, ideally within engineering or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of construction and environmental law, particularly in the areas of explosion protection, waste management, hazardous goods, and hazardous substances regulations
  • Strategic mindset with a goal- and solution-oriented approach, e.g., contributing to corporate and group-level strategies
  • Strong team spirit, persuasive skills, and excellent communication abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility for assignments
