• Erfahrung in der Leitung interdisziplinärer Teams in komplexen Matrixorganisationen.
• Nachgewiesene Erfolge in der Produktentwicklung, insbesondere bei sicherheitsrelevanten Produkten.

Aufgaben

• Leitung der F&E-Aktivitäten des gesamten Produktportfolios der Cybex-Gruppe.
• Entwicklung und Erweiterung des Produktportfolios sowie Umsetzung neuer Produktideen.
• Steuerung und Umsetzung nachhaltiger Produktentwicklungsaktivitäten.

Area of responsibilities:

1. Head of R&D activities of the entire product portfolio of the Cybex Group. Focus Hard-Parts, Mechatronics, Detailed Eng., Crash, Simulation (CAE and Multi Body), Biomechanics, Labs, Industrial Eng, Patents etc.
2. Responsible for the global Cybex Technologies team in Bayreuth, Vienna, Prag, Charlotte and Kunshan.
3. Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
4. Set standards, guidelines and processes across the group.
5. Steer and deploy sustainable product development activities.
6. Develop and broaden the product portfolio and generate and realize new product ideas.
7. Improve and implement processes, structures and used tools in the R&D area especially the product development process.
8. Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.
9. Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.
10. Support to lead innovation for the business and drive improvement in product development and processes.
11. Recognize and incorporate industry-related advances in technology.

Profile of qualification:

1. Studies of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar education and excellent technical understanding.
2. Profound years relevant work experience within the consumer goods industry, preferably in an international environment.
3. High Leadership experience regarding interdisciplinary international teams and in a complex matrix organization.
4. Management track record in family-owned companies appreciated.
5. Several years of experience regarding complex mechatronic products.
6. Proven track record of successfully managed product development projects, preferably in the consumer area about safety-related products.
7. Excellent English and German skills.
