Senior Director Nature Based Solutions

1. Team Management (Team of approx. 25 people)
2. Responsibility for annual division budget and monitoring of deadlines
3. Participate in business strategy to improve and deliver high-quality consulting services and products
4. Grow new service lines / possibly develop new methodologies in Natural Climate Solutions
5. Provide strategic support to structure the project pipeline and meet client demand for carbon credits
6. Assist in project proposals / provide technical feedback
7. Drive new joint ventures in Africa / South East Asia and strengthen the business in Latin America
8. Represent FL in different forums and corporate events
9. Gather market intelligence on trends, regulations, and policies
10. Manage short-, mid-, and long-term Carbon Inventory
11. Develop a portfolio of carbon forestry projects

Your profile

1. University degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or related fields
2. Background in the investment sector
3. At least 10 years of experience managing international teams
4. At least 8 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets
5. Proven experience managing multiple projects in an international team
6. Experience in preparing business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar (e.g., renewable energy)
7. Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish or French is an advantage
8. Willingness to travel
9. Professional experience in Latin America, Africa, or South-East Asia is an advantage
