YOUR MISSION:

Maximize the effectiveness of Region Europe Marketing Spend to elevate PUMA’s brand desirability and increase the commercial impact across all markets within the responsible geographical scope.

DIGITAL MARKETING:
  • Ensure full digital alignment between PUMA DTC and Retailers.
  • Implement an integrated campaign planning approach to ensure a full funnel strategy from Brand Marketing to Performance Marketing.
  • Allocate budgets dynamically based on ROI.
  • Build an agile culture within the European marketing community to adapt and improve our digital activities’ ROI: experience, measure & improve.
  • Establish and foster adoption of standard KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness (short-term) and brand marketing efforts (long-term) across Europe.
  • Set clear target KPIs and measure performance against them in each Area.
  • Lead Area Directors of Marketing with insights to optimize local marketing mix.
  • Ensure proper budget allocation based on effectiveness during annual budgeting.
  • Share best practices within the region and from global initiatives.
CONSUMER INSIGHT:
  • Champion the consumer perspective.
  • Drive consumer insights studies with BU Marketing Team to understand customer segments.
  • Use consumer insights to craft tailored and impactful marketing strategies.
  • Optimize channels (Wholesale & Direct-to-Consumer) to benefit PUMA Europe.
  • Define the consumer journey and align marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Maximize consumer insights from DTC for wholesale areas.
AGENCY:
  • Establish the right partner/agency structure.
  • Identify key partners (Google, Facebook, etc.) and build direct relationships.
  • Optimize agency network across Europe for scale and relevance.
  • Manage agencies effectively with clear guidance on in-house vs outsourced competencies.
  • Negotiate annually with European partners for scale benefits and cost optimization.
REPRESENTATION:
  • Represent Europe's interests in global marketing and sports marketing.
  • Ensure Europe’s requirements are incorporated into global guidelines and initiatives.
COACHING:
  • Develop Area Marketing Directors and European HUB Marketing Team.
  • Ensure team members meet expected competencies.
  • Create development plans with Area MDs.
  • Participate in interviews for new Marketing Directors.
  • Foster a strong community within European Marketing.
BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Oversee and control the Region Europe Marketing Budget.
LEADERSHIP:
  • Manage performance and professional development of the team.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
