Want to be a Hero? Join one of the leading global online food ordering and delivery marketplaces! We are on the lookout for a Senior Director, Local Shops Commercial (f/m/d) to lead the Quick Commerce Commercial team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Your mission:
  1. You lead the Local Shops Commercial team in our global headquarters and are responsible for the category performance of local stores across our market. You are part of the global Quick-Commerce leadership team and take an active role in setting up the team, culture, ways of working, and development of the team.
  2. You work closely with the Local Shops regional and local teams across our markets to set trading strategies (assortment, price, promo) with our retail partners to drive sales and profit.
  3. You advise Delivery Hero brands on developing strategic approaches to make significant and lasting improvements to their performance and to tackle difficult issues and serious challenges.
  4. You support our markets hands-on in implementing trading strategies and driving top line growth, sharing best practices across regions and always raising the bar.
  5. You help our brands to analyze threats and opportunities in the surrounding business environment and manage and sustain growth to maximize revenue.
  6. Together with your team and our data analysts, you develop and deliver reports and presentations (including up to C-level stakeholders) to communicate recommended approaches and influence our global commercial strategy.
  7. You work closely with product/tech and data teams to define and develop all necessary reporting, data models, tools, and products to drive category performance in local stores.
Qualifications
  1. You have 10+ years of experience, including experience in an online marketplace business and/or (grocery) retail commercial roles, with 4+ years in a leadership / team management capacity.
  2. You have a strong customer-centric mindset and genuine interest in retail (particularly groceries) and marketplace business models.
  3. You have a strong ability to analyze, synthesize, and translate large volumes of data into strategies and actions.
  4. You possess a high level of competence and credibility to influence strategic decisions at all organization levels and across cultures.
  5. You are confident working closely with data and product teams.
  6. You have knowledge and experience in retail category management or an online marketplace business.
