Your Role

Business Information Security (InfoSec) Enablement is the Body of Corporate Information Security with a focus on hands-on Business enablement and support. It has the global responsibility to enable and support ZEISS Business Segments and Units to implement the strategic agenda with security by design, aligning with customer needs and the ZEISS-wide information security strategy. This function leads the global Business Information Security Organization and coordinates initiatives to support Business Segment’s Information Security programs, creating synergy and standardization across ZEISS. The goal is to enable and support Business Segments and Units to deliver secure and resilient solutions quickly and at scale, meeting customer expectations related to information security.

As a “Senior Digital InfoSec Architect”, you will develop and implement enterprise information security architecture and technology solutions to ensure security by design and secure digital transformation.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the definition of digital business security architecture for Digital & Data capabilities and create security architecture artifacts (models, templates, standards, procedures).
• Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks, standards, and overall digital business strategy.
• Serve as an information security expert and trusted advisor to IT and business partners.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and security specialists to ensure security solutions across digital systems.
• Provide security architecture input into digital transformation strategies, reference architectures, and investment planning.
• Align security governance with digital capabilities.
• Research new technologies, architectures, and security products to support the digital enterprise.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the information security strategy.
• Analyze business impact and exposure based on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Your Profile

• Education or experience in Information Security (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA are advantageous.
• Experience in developing security architecture artifacts for digital, data, and IoT platforms, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience managing third-party service and technology providers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and communicate complex issues effectively.
• Team-oriented with experience working with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital application architectures and cloud infrastructures.
• Understanding of emerging technologies' impact on security requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German or other languages are a plus.
