Merchant Solutions Technology

The Merchant Solutions Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a dedicated team that leverages the rapidly evolving technology industry to offer new products and innovations to meet client needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup. We develop products such as our card issuing and processing platform on cloud infrastructure. As part of our Berlin Tech Hub team, you will lead efforts to build an issuing platform on GCP, collaborating closely with developers, architects, product managers, and platform teams.

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer (f/m/x), you will develop end-to-end applications for merchant solutions to achieve business objectives.

Your key responsibilities

1. Design, plan, and lead the development of our cloud infrastructure in collaboration with development teams.
2. Ensure compliance with EU and German regulations, including EKM and ESM in GCP.
3. Work with business product owners, development teams, and support to define, monitor, and report SLIs and SLOs to meet contractual SLAs.
4. Shape the future of our cloud technology stack and apply it creatively to solve complex problems.
5. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Security as Code (SaC) in GCP.
6. Lead by example in software design and programming practices to enhance team capabilities.

Your skills and experiences

1. Extensive experience automating SDLC pipelines and establishing SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, etc.
2. Proven experience in cloud-based, distributed, highly available, and fault-tolerant applications.
3. Strong skills in DevOps/SRE tools such as Terraform, Github workflows, Prisma/Twist, XRay, Dependabot, Veracode, GSM, New Relic.
4. Excellent written and spoken English skills; German language skills are a plus.
