About the Department / Project

Our Software Engineering team is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining a multi-tenant Software Development Environment (SDE). This SDE supports CI/CD pipelines based on industry standards and tailored to our client'sspecific needs. The environment operates on both Kubernetes clusters and virtualized platforms (e.g., VMWare) and continues to evolve in scale and complexity.

Main Responsibilities

• Install and configure SDE components on various operational platforms
• Administer core tools within the SDE, including:
• GitLab (Version Control)
• GitLab-Runner (Build Controller)
• Sonatype Nexus (Component Management)
• Sonatype Nexus IQ (Component Analysis)
• Sonarqube (Static Code Analysis)
• Harbor (Container Registry)
• Administer virtual environments using VMware vSphere and VCF
• Perform Linux system administration (RedHat)
• Use Ansible for configuration management
• Integrate tools into existing infrastructure (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, Firewalls, Ansible Tower)
• Set up and maintain test environments and Kubernetes clusters for development teams
• Ensure continuous availability of the SDE and restore functionality in case of failures
• Execute software updates and manage user access/onboarding/offboarding across systems

Required Qualifications

Languages:

• German: C1 CEFR (fluent)
• English: B1 CEFR (intermediate)

Experience (Minimum):

• 3 years Installing and operating GitLab
• 2 years Installing and operating GitLab-Runner
• 2 years Working with Sonatype Nexus or similar component management tools
• 3 years Administering Linux systems (RedHat or equivalent)
• 2 years Configuration management with Ansible or similar
• 1 year Working with virtualized environments using VMware vSphere / VCF
• 2 years Integrating tools with infrastructure components (Active Directory, DNS, etc.)
