Your tasks include:

1. Work in a team: Collaborate with the existing team as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), supporting the scaling of our systems and monitoring applications.
2. Take responsibility: Manage server administration and setup using Saltstack, and contribute to the development of DevOps processes and new workflows.
3. Improve products: Maintain and expand servers across the rental car sector, implementing backup and monitoring strategies.
4. Implement projects: Enhance deployment processes (CI), automate system configurations through scripting, and adapt automation tools.

Requirements

1. Practical experience: As a system administrator (m/f/d) with Debian Linux, and experience with Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or PHP is a plus.
2. Tech Stack: Proficiency with shell scripting, Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL (including replication and backups), and basic networking (firewall, VLAN, routing).
3. Digital Mindset: Interest in Elasticsearch and Redis, and familiarity with Docker-based deployment environments is desirable.
4. Drive and Spirit: Strong quality awareness, hands-on mentality, enthusiasm for development, excellent communication skills, team orientation, and motivation.
5. Language skills: Fluent German and good English skills.
