As a Senior DevOps Engineer (Platform) (f/m/d)* at Parloa, you will take the lead in advancing our cloud architecture and infrastructure. Your efforts will ensure that our engineering teams operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Your role will be crucial in defining our infrastructure strategy and golden path, significantly influencing the speed and quality of the software solutions we deliver to our clients. You'll work in a flexible startup environment that values innovation and effective collaboration within a diverse team.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Take ownership of optimizing our cloud architecture, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work within the principles of security and compliance by design.
  • Plan and design infrastructure independently, focusing on strategic architectural tasks.
  • Automate all processes, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as a fundamental approach.
  • Enhance observability by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, incorporating SLOs, SLAs and SLIs to ensure the health and performance of our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and align the strategy with broader business and team objectives.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Extensive experience in DevOps practices, with a strong focus on cloud architecture (preferably Azure).
  • Strong understanding of network concepts, with experience working with networks and data centers being a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently plan and design infrastructure, focusing on strategic architectural tasks.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling applications following the Security Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) concept.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • An understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace and a commitment to fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Experience working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Providers (IDP) is a plus.
  • Experience working with AI components and a desire to move in that direction is a plus.
  • A readiness to learn and adapt to the realities of the fast-changing AI market.
