Jobtailor is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join a team focused on building scalable platforms with a product mindset. You will design, implement, and operate AWS-based infrastructure, automate with Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible, and ensure security and reliability across the SDLC.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, handle incidents, and contribute to architecture decisions. The role emphasizes observability, automation, and continuous improvement.

• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps engineer role specifically.
• Expertise with designing, creating, and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Requirements

• Expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience using AI coding tools to improve ops automation without compromising security or reliability
• Experience with Linux, shell scripting, and a scripting language
• Experience with modern tools such as Docker, GitHub, and CircleCI/RWX
• Understanding of how DevOps design influences, enables, and constrains application architecture and SDLC
• Experience with observability tools, troubleshooting, monitoring, and alarming
• Solid understanding of security principles and security-first design
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be located in the United States by the start date
