Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain core platform components using Infrastructure as Code. You will build self-service deployment tools, manage containerization and orchestration, and develop secure CI/CD pipelines with a strong emphasis on observability and on-call readiness.

Collaborate across development, security, and operations to evolve the platform architecture and roadmap, staying current with cloud-native trends and best practices

Qualifikationen

• Strong experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider; GCP or AWS preferred.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, storage, databases, and related ecosystem components.
• Experience with Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, and Helm.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Containerization experience required.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or Datadog.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
