Senior DevOps Architect (m/f/d)

We operate in an agile environment for young-minded change makers and technology enthusiasts passionate about shaping the digital future of our company. Our central platform, based on cloud technology, is key to our mission, serving as the backbone for our connected future. Utilizing a cutting-edge technology stack, we leverage data to fuel our business, enhance decision-making, and enable innovative use cases such as real-time analytics, low-code automations, and custom software solutions.

Remote work is possible up to 95%, with 5% onsite in Düsseldorf required.

Your Tasks:

• Design and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitOps, and other tools.
• Lead deployment and scaling of applications using containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless software delivery.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources on Microsoft Azure, focusing on cost-effectiveness, performance, and security.
• Promote best practices in DevOps, including infrastructure as code, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and practices for continuous improvement.
• Advise and guide teams on DevOps tools, methods, and best practices.
• Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to meet DevOps requirements.
• Contribute to various digital technology projects, including Industry 4.0 and Robotic Process Automation.
• Support digital transformation efforts by advancing implementation strategies.

Your Profile:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, with success in large-scale solutions. Certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, or Azure are advantageous.
• Skills: Expertise in GitHub, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure. Proven ability to design robust CI/CD pipelines, with strong knowledge of security and IaC practices. Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous learning.
• Personality: Analytical, solution-oriented, and an excellent communicator. Able to explain complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivated, passionate about automation, adaptable, and eager to stay current with DevOps advancements.
