Are you a passionate and experienced developer with a background in server-side technologies? Do you like to experiment with latest development methods and innovations? Do you think you have the vision to define and shape future of TV and Online Video Services? If so, you should join our team to become one of the startup stars of tomorrow. We are looking for a creative and pragmatic person to join our expert team asap.

Your tasks would involve coordinating and implementing data services for TV and Online Video Platforms using Python and Node.JS, as well as being involved in client facing mobile applications.

As Senior Developer you will report directly to the management and take over a central role for our product and team development.

We would like you to

• Hold a B.Sc/M.Sc in computer science or related field
• Have extensive experience in web related technologies and understanding of their concepts
• Be proficient in Python (Twisted/Django) and/or Node.JS in a Linux/Unix based development environment
• Have experience with integrating and maintaining databases and RESTful web services
• Have sound knowledge of API technologies, data engineering best practice plus standardisation trends
• Be passionate, entrepreneurial minded and care about the small details that lead to a quality product
• Enjoy to work in a fast paced environment
• Be a strong collaborator, with good communication skills
• Speak a fluent English and be able to communicate at least on a basic level in German

It would be a bonus if you

• Have worked with the Django/Twisted and MySQL stack for large-scale web sites
• Good understanding of fronted development, recommender technologies and semantic analysis
• Have worked within both, Agile and V-Modell development
