Senior Developer (Python) - (m/w/d)

Your mission

We are looking for a passionate and highly experienced Python Developer for our Development Team. Your role will primarily involve the following tasks:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python applications and components.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs, ensuring their scalability and performance.
• Debug and resolve issues across the development lifecycle.
• Integrate data storage solutions (Graph/Triple Stores & NoSQL databases).
• Continuously learn and implement new technologies and techniques to improve product performance and developer productivity.
• Assist in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 2–4 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven experience with web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI).
• Solid knowledge of developing RESTful APIs and building data pipelines (Extract, Transform, Load).
• Experience with version control systems (especially Git).
• Ability to create unit and integration tests.
• Experience with container platforms (especially Docker).
• Open-source contributions or personal projects showcasing Python expertise.
• German and English language skills.
