Senior Developer (m/f/d) Python and Golang with experience in AWS *IP

For our client, a DAX group with more than 100,000 employees worldwide, we are currently seeking a

Senior Developer (m/f/d) Python and Golang with experience in AWS

Start: May 2025
Duration: until the end of 2025
Location: remote
Workload: full-time or at least 80%

Tasks:

1. Restructuring of the existing backend services in Golang to Python, which are based on multiple Microservice frameworks to support a Data Driven Farming customer solution.
2. Definition of the system interfaces and the associated documentation of the required architecture components.
3. Implementation of the solutions throughout the entire life cycle from development, testing and deployment to production, including documentation and code improvement.
4. Working in software development teams with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
5. Support the Microservice system landscape in the Amazon AWS Cloud.

Requirements:

1. Excellent knowledge of Python, ideally more than 5 years of professional project experience.
2. Practical project experience in Golang development.
3. Proven record of developing production-ready software solutions, ideally in scalable cloud infrastructures.
4. Deep Knowledge in AWS with Terraform and Microservices, ideally knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
5. Expertise in serverless systems is preferred as well as an understanding for event-driven architectures.
6. Ideally experience in supporting an IoT-related product's backend system.
7. Solid knowledge in Software development life cycle and agile development methods like SCRUM/Kanban which is supported with JIRA Tools and Version Control tools (Git).
8. Very good communication skills with international teams.
9. Fluent English skills.
