Job Description:

For our client, a DAX group with more than 100,000 employees worldwide, we are seeking a Senior Developer (m/f/d) Python and Golang with experience in AWS. The position starts in May 2025 and is until the end of 2025. It is remote, full-time or at least 80% workload.

Responsibilities:

• Restructuring existing backend services from Golang to Python, based on Microservice frameworks supporting a Data Driven Farming customer solution
• Defining system interfaces and documenting architecture components
• Implementing solutions throughout the entire lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Working in agile software development teams (Scrum/Kanban)
• Supporting the Microservice landscape in Amazon AWS Cloud

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Python, with over 5 years of professional experience
• Practical project experience in Golang development
• Proven record of developing production-ready software, ideally in scalable cloud infrastructures
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Microservices, with ideally Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
• Experience with serverless systems and event-driven architectures is preferred
• Experience supporting IoT-related backend systems is a plus
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), supported by JIRA and Git
• Excellent communication skills with international teams
• Fluent English skills
