Zusammenfassung

Eckert & Ziegler Eurotope GmbH is seeking a technically adept leader to manage and further develop analytical instruments for measuring radioactivity. You will drive detector systems from concept through testing and validation, coordinating across radiochemistry, electrical engineering, software, and mechanical design.

Collaborative leadership on international projects, evaluation of detectors, and presenting results to customers and sales teams are key success factors for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in natural sciences, preferably physics, electrical engineering, chemistry or a comparable field.
• Profound knowledge and experience in detector technology, radioactivity measurements, and the evaluation of metrological performance parameters.
• Experience in project management and project leadership.
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English (minimum C1 level).
• Analytical mindset and decisiveness.
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work style.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Technical management and further development of analytical instruments for measuring and determining radioactivity
• Conceptualization, design, prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation of detector systems for quality control and the release of radioactive preparations and pharmaceuticals in radiopharmacy
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with the fields of radiochemistry, electrical engineering, software development, and mechanical design
• Evaluation and selection of detector materials and components (scintillators, semiconductor detectors, photosensors) in terms of efficiency, resolution, and background performance, as well as optimization of measurement geometries and sample preparation
• Leading and coordinating development projects in international and interdisciplinary teams
• Providing technical support to product management, application specialists, and customer service, as well as presenting results to customers and the sales team
