SAP provides leading solutions to help our customers run sustainable businesses. We develop a cloud-native solution called SAP Sustainability Footprint Management to enable companies to easily calculate and analyze carbon footprint on product and corporate levels.

The Role

We are searching for a passionate and experienced hands-on Senior Developer to strengthen our team onsite in our office Walldorf. As a Senior Developer (f/m/d), you will design, implement, and test new application features while ensuring high-quality software deliverables.

In your daily work, you will:

• Be responsible for design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of solution capabilities and features in our BTP-based cloud solution with CAP for node.
• Work in a continuous deployment/continuous integration-based development environment, responsible for test automation with unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and performance tests.
• Realize solution features while being deeply involved in the software development process from conceptual refinement to implementation until delivery and maintenance.
• Work closely with the development manager, user experience colleagues, product managers, and development architects to ensure the realization of top-notch user-friendly and market-oriented features.
• Participate in development support activities to maintain and support our growing customer base.

What you bring:

• You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cloud software solutions, specifically with a focus on quality and user experience.
• You have strong knowledge of software design and development principles, with at least 5 years of experience in the software development sector.
• Hands-on experience developing CAP-based applications (preferably in JavaScript/TypeScript) on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
• You show expertise in at least one of the following topics: CAP for Node.js, Fiori Elements, Typescript, BTP.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• You are a great team player and fast learner with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• You bring a natural can-do attitude while being self-motivated in your daily work.
