ZEAL Network SE is expanding its frontend and mobile engineering teams to evolve and maintain a unified component library across iOS, Android, and Web. You will work closely with UI/UX designers to define APIs, ensure accessibility, and ship with a shared design system, while contributing to architecture and documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and leveraging AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Several years as frontend or mobile engineer with design system ownership.
• Strong TypeScript/Angular experience and willingness to dive deep into Angular.
• Native UI development experience in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose or Swift/SwiftUI.
• Experience with design tokens and multi-brand theming.
• Commitment to accessibility and responsive design.
• Product mindset and ability to measure adoption of internal tooling.

Your tasks:

• Evolve, expand and maintain our component libraries on all our platforms (iOS, Android and Web): Angular, Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI fed by a shared design system.
• Partner closely with our UI/UX designers on component APIs, naming, states, and variants, keeping our code in sync with our Figma library - closing the gap between what is designed and what ships.
• Define the system’s architecture: theming and brand layering, versioning, releases, and a contribution model that invites our domain teams in rather than shutting them out.
• Maintain living documentation (e.g. Storybook) and drive adoption through pairing, reviews, and migration paths.
• Make accessibility and responsive behavior built-in properties of our components, not an afterthought.
• Adopt agentic coding practices and use AI coding agents to accelerate development, while maintaining ownership of technical decisions, code quality, and outcomes.

What you offer us:

• Several years as a frontend or mobile engineer, including hands-on ownership of a design system or shared component library used by multiple teams.
• TypeScript and Angular skills or comparable depth in another modern framework / library and a clear willingness to go all in on Angular plus a sharp instinct for component API design.
• Hands-on native UI development with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose or Swift/SwiftUI.
• You will author native components yourself.
• Strong expertise in one platform, combined with an interest in developing a working knowledge of the other, is perfectly fine.
• Experience with design tokens and theming multi-brand environments: building one system that carries several brands without forking.
• A strong grasp of responsive and adaptive design and of accessibility standards, and the habit of verifying both in practice.
• A product mindset toward internal tooling, you treat the design system and component libraries as a product with users and measure success by adoption.
• You enjoy enabling other teams and building consensus across engineering and design.
