This is a senior-level individual contributor role, focusing on facilitating cross-functional planning, coordinating inputs and outputs for the S&OP process, and maintaining a high standard of demand forecast quality – without personnel or functional leadership responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities :

Demand Forecasting & Analysis

  • Build and maintain demand forecasts across all product types and flows (FG, intercompany, agency).
  • Consolidate and disaggregate forecasts by brand, customer, and SKU.
  • Integrate lifecycle events and product segmentation (e.g., ABC, phase-in / -out).
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes, and drive improvements.

S&OP Process & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Lead the demand input for monthly S&OP meetings.
  • Align forecast assumptions with Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Identify gaps and risks; present scenarios and mitigation plans.
  • Document forecast drivers and deviations across S&OP cycles.
  • Run monthly forecast reviews and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for demand planning topics.
  • Coordinate demand handovers to Supply Planning and Procurement.
  • Manage intercompany forecast exchange and regional alignment.

Inventory Awareness & Short-Term Agility

  • Track key inventory KPIs and flag stock-out / overstock risks.
  • Support short-term capacity planning and scenario analyses.
  • Ensure weekly signals are reflected operationally.
  • Report KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias, service level, etc.) and post-event learnings.
  • Enhance planning tools and methodologies (digital focus).
  • Drive process standardization and forecasting excellence.

Your Profile :

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of demand planning experience, ideally in FMCG, food or chemical industries .
  • Strong experience in S&OP and cross-functional planning.
  • Proficient in Excel and confident with large data sets.
  • ERP knowledge (Alphaplan, FuturMaster, SAP); Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; German strongly preferred.

What To Expect :

  • Become part of one of Europe’s leading spirits companies, driving the success of international top brands.
  • A key role in shaping demand planning processes in a growing international business
  • Strong cross-functional exposure and involvement in business-critical S&OP cycles
  • The opportunity to make a measurable impact on planning efficiency and customer service
  • We foster a supportive, inclusive culture with flat hierarchies and true team spirit – open, bold, and united.
  • We support your growth through regular feedback, mentoring, training opportunities, and access to strategic projects – because your development matters to us.
  • Enjoy a competitive compensation package including performance-based bonuses, 30 vacation days, a company pension scheme, a €50 monthly benefits account, bike leasing (JobRad), language courses, and more.
  • Your wellbeing matters : We offer an employee assistance program and a range of initiatives as part of our comprehensive employee health management.
  • Love our brands? So do we. As part of the team, you’ll receive discounts on the products from our diverse portfolio.
