Job Description:

Teraki is a Berlin-based tech-driven company enabling AI to be fully scalable for automotive applications. We focus on innovation in connected cars, self-driving, and 3D mapping. We provide data reduction and processing solutions for automotive IoT applications, reducing costs and helping launch new applications by managing the explosion of data from connected cars.

We are expanding our research team with a Data Scientist / Researcher position. We seek a Machine Learning expert with a strong background in Computer Vision and algorithm development.

In this role, you will impact TERAKI's technology stack for train applications, conduct research on new deep learning and processing technologies, create prototypes, and collaborate with software engineers to develop embedded implementations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Join a vibrant R&D team of researchers and data scientists
  • Develop pipelines for neuromorphic vision systems
  • Create filters for event-based cameras to reduce noise
  • Fuse and correct data for self-motion and vibration effects
  • Develop algorithms for processing event-based camera data
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, or related fields
  • Experience in machine learning-driven applications
  • Strong Python skills and solid C++ knowledge
  • Deep understanding of mathematics, especially linear algebra
  • Experience in image processing and deep learning is a plus
  • Experience with event-based cameras and spiking neural networks is a plus
  • Bonus if experienced in Embedded Systems, FPGA, OpenCL, GPU-based implementation, and parallelization
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
