Workster is partnering with a global leader in mobility solutions to find a Senior Data Scientist – Operations Research to join their dynamic team in Lisbon or in Munich.

Your Role

• Revenue Management & Price Optimization : Design and deploy advanced dynamic pricing and bid price optimization systems.
• Operations Research Modeling : Solve complex linear, nonlinear, and stochastic optimization problems.
• Forecasting & Demand Modeling : Use time series and ML techniques to predict customer demand and willingness to pay.
• Algorithm Development : Build scalable algorithms and ensure seamless integration with production environments.
• Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data teams.
• Thought Leadership : Stay ahead of trends, share insights, and mentor junior data scientists.

Your Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science / operations research (ideally in travel, airline, or car rental industries).
• Strong background in revenue management and pricing systems.
• Expertise in mathematical optimization and solvers.
• Skilled in demand forecasting and regression-based ML.
• Advanced Python programming and version control experience.
• Analytical thinker with strong business translation skills.
• Master's degree (or higher) in OR, Applied Math, or related field (preferred).
