Your Tasks - What You Can Expect as Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d):
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations affecting ink quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with data science team members to identify new business use cases and present findings to stakeholders.
- Present insights to C-level executives across various business units.
- Develop predictive models, create prototypes, and guide interpretation of model results in a business context.
- Embed data-driven decision algorithms into business operations and monitor their performance to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Work in a cross-functional agile environment with an international team.
- Stay updated on latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and related fields.
Your Profile - What You Bring as Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d):
- Master’s or PhD in Physics, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Informatics, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in analytical roles, especially in supply chain, customer segmentation, or manufacturing.
- Experience working in agile teams and communicating findings effectively across business, engineering, and IT teams.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Expertise in cloud and on-premises storage systems (preferably MS SQL Server, SAP BW, Azure).
- Good understanding of business processes and experience with ERP systems like SAP ECC/HANA.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and R, especially in AI/ML development.
- Familiarity with data extraction, loading, and transformation best practices.
- Ability to analyze and communicate findings for process optimization.
- Fluent in English and preferably in German.
