Senior Data Scientist / Developer (w/m/d) - Index Specialist

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the technical implementation and integration of international commodity indices.
• Work with the Market Data team and Index Solution Specialist to implement requirements for new indices and integrate them into the software design.
• Analyze existing index calculation processes to optimize and ensure quality.
• Utilize cloud services, GitHub, and Jira in daily tasks.
• Implement monitoring systems to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with your team, fostering an environment of idea exchange and mutual support, which we call: Exchange Mindset.

Your Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field, with experience in Python coding.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP ecosystem), proficiency in SQL (BigQuery).
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills in Business English and intermediate German.
• Ideally, experience in indices, exchange, or banking environments.
• Knowledge of languages like Node.js, Go, Java, .NET, Ruby, PHP is a plus.
