OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a full- or part-time(Senior) Data Scientist Corporate AI*to strengthen our Data Intelligence department. You will workinTübingen(Germany)in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues across the entire organization and will contribute to our mission of delivering novel PRAME immunotherapies to patients with cancer.

Tübingen is a vibrant university city close to Stuttgart in southern Germany. This is a permanent position.

YOUR MISSION

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

• AI Implementation & Integration: Validate, deploy and integrate AI tools into business workflows across departments, ensuring usability and alignment with existing business processes and collaborating closely with IT.

• Tool Scouting & Evaluation: Research, test, and recommend third-party AI tools relevant to various business functions, balancing innovation, usability, and compliance.

• Custom AI Development: Build and maintain AI applications or scripts. Train and validate AI/ML models on corporate data.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in HR, Finance, R&D, and more to translate needs into practical AI use cases and solutions.

• User Training & Support: Train colleagues across the organization on AI tools and capabilities. Serve as the go-to expert for AI-related questions, onboarding, and troubleshooting.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Several years of experience in AI operations within a corporate environment are essential.

• You have broad knowledge of AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., LLMs, classical ML algorithms, model evaluation, fine-tuning) and an intrinsic motivation to stay up to date with the latest developments.

• You are proficient in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python) and one database language (e.g., SQL), and are familiar with Linux-based systems.

• You have excellent communication skills in English, a high degree of independent working and analytical reasoning, and thrive in an interdisciplinary collaborative environment.
