WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We at trinamiX have developed a novel 3D imaging system to enhance the security of biometric face authentication, even behind OLED displays. We utilize deep convolutional neural networks to distinguish human faces from spoof attacks. Our clients include major players in the smartphone, automotive, and other industries.

• As part of our Data Science Team, you will design, train, evaluate, and deploy deep convolutional neural networks for spoof detection in face authentication systems.
• You will conduct research on cutting-edge deep learning architectures and training paradigms, and develop new algorithms to improve solutions.
• Strategize data acquisition campaigns and perform exploratory data analysis to train models that meet product requirements.
• Perform hyperparameter tuning, neural architecture search, and quantization to optimize models for inference on embedded systems.
• Communicate performance metrics and evaluation results to key stakeholders.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (specializing in Computer Vision / ML) or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience working on machine learning problems with real-world data in a team setting.
• Strong Python programming skills and extensive hands-on experience with TensorFlow / Keras or PyTorch.
• Experience with deep learning for image classification, segmentation, object detection, and knowledge of state-of-the-art architectures.
• Experience with computer vision algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly and concisely.
• Ideally, experience with C++, depth cameras and sensor data, time series image data or video processing, signal processing algorithms, and multivariate statistical analysis.
