We are looking for a proactive Data Engineering Team Lead to understand and communicate our company's vision, seamlessly integrate these into daily operations, and focus on the continuous development and success of the data engineering team in achieving strategic goals.

Aufgaben

• You consult with clients to gather, understand, and analyse their unique requirements and objectives, to define use cases and develop technical solutions that align with their strategic goals.
• You lead, plan, execute, and deliver complex data projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• You design and implement data pipelines (ETL/ELT processes) and CI/CD pipelines, while also planning and supporting the modelling of Data Warehouses.
• You maintain and expand existing cloud infrastructures and Data Warehouses, continuously optimising processes for cost-efficiency, performance, and stability.
• You provide technical, professional, and personal support to your team members.
• You cooperate closely with your colleagues from the Data Visualization, Digital Analytics, and Data Science teams to develop innovative solutions.
• You create impactful presentations and deliver insightful training sessions and workshops for both clients and colleagues.

Qualifikation

• A degree from a university or technical college in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist, ideally within Marketing Analytics or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in BI cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect), and modelling frameworks (e.g., dbt).
• Good project management skills, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
