The Emerging Propositions Data Engineering team is responsible for enabling and evolving product offerings in Beauty, Designer, and Pre-owned categories. We solve customer problems related to unique customer experiences and assortment properties like high number of makeup shades, distinct presentation of luxury brands, or dedicated data models for pre-owned articles.

Role: Senior Data Engineer

You will design, develop, and operate data infrastructure, datasets, and data products. The scope includes large-scale batch processing, data warehouses, ETL, data analysis, and data observability.

We'd Love to Meet You If

• You have over 5 years of experience in large-scale data engineering with open source technologies.
• You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• You are eager to learn and expand your technical expertise.
• You understand modern data engineering practices like data modeling, architecture, pipeline as code, and observability.
• You have experience with batch processing technologies such as Airflow, Databricks, Presto/Trino, Spark, AWS data services.
• You are proficient in SQL, including optimization and performance tuning.
• You have experience designing and deploying data pipelines in production using Python; experience with Scala or Java is a plus.
