Department

The Corporate Planning division, located in Brussels, consists of several departments: the corporate planning department responsible for Group Controlling & Daikin Europe controlling, the Business Analytics department, and the Internal controls & J-Sox department.

The division is responsible for translating the strategy into annual budgets and achieving group targets. This involves collaboration with all sales and manufacturing entities, as well as other departments within Daikin Europe. It manages group-wide reporting, handling sales, margin, and pricing data, and collecting market intelligence. Its mission is to safeguard and manage profitability through periodic management reports, close monitoring, and proposing corrective actions.

The division also develops and implements corporate governance and internal controls (e.g., J-SOx and system access).

Position in the Department

This vacancy is within the Business Analytics Department.

Function

1. You will participate in SAP roll-outs at our subsidiaries, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance the controlling functions.
2. You will discuss business requests and collaborate with the IT Center to develop SAP and PowerBI solutions that add value.
3. You will be involved in deploying Sales & Service software at our subsidiaries, focusing on controlling in SAP and reporting in PowerBI.
4. You will set up new PowerBI dashboards across the EMEA organization, integrating operational tools.
5. You will work with diverse stakeholders, managing priorities, expectations, and communication. Your ideas for improvements will add value.

Your Profile

• Master's degree in business economics, finance, or controlling.
• Extensive experience as a controller, SAP key-user, or in an analytical role.
• Proficiency with SAP SD, FI, and CO modules; knowledge of SAP setup in FI and CO is a plus.
• Willingness to travel abroad (15%) and/or to the Oostkamp office for projects or meetings.
• Accurate work style, ability to analyze details while maintaining an overview.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
