Department

The Corporate Planning division, located in Brussels, consists of several departments: the corporate planning department responsible for Group Controlling & Daikin Europe controlling, the Business Analytics department, and the Internal controls & J-Sox department.

The division is responsible for translating strategy into annual budgets and achieving group targets. This involves collaboration with sales and manufacturing entities and other departments within Daikin Europe. As a key component of group-wide reporting, the department manages sales, margin, and pricing data, and collects and reports market intelligence. Its mission is to safeguard and enhance profitability through periodic reporting, close monitoring, and proposing corrective actions.

The division also develops and implements corporate governance and internal controls, including J-SOx and system access management.

Position in the Department

This vacancy is within the Business Analytics Department.

Responsibilities

1. You will participate in SAP roll-outs at our subsidiary companies, proposing and implementing improvements to the controlling functions.
2. You will interpret business requests and collaborate with the IT Center to develop SAP and PowerBI solutions that add value.
3. You will assist in deploying the Sales & Service software package at subsidiaries, focusing on controlling in SAP and reporting via PowerBI.
4. You will set up new PowerBI dashboards across the EMEA organization, integrating various operational tools.
5. You will work with diverse stakeholders, managing priorities, expectations, and communication, while suggesting enhancements to current systems.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in business economics, finance, or controlling.
• Significant experience as a controller, SAP key-user, or in an analytical role.
• Proficiency with SAP SD, FI, and CO modules; knowledge of SAP FI and CO setup is a plus.
• Willingness to travel abroad (~15%) and to Oostkamp for projects or meetings.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain an overview.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Team player capable of working independently.
• Result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
