If so, then EPAM has a perfect opportunity for you as a hybrid Senior Data Consultant (m/f/d), to join our Data and Analytics Practice in Germany. This position is a part of the Global Consumer Data and Analytics Consulting team including experts from many different sectors.

This is a great opportunity for you to play a highly visible and leading role driving the Data Analytics Consulting landscape.

Responsibilities

1. Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients at senior levels and external and internal partners to maximize growth within an account/client portfolio
2. Be part of the team building EPAM's overall Data & Analytics offering and go-to-market, making sure it covers Financial Services and Banking clients' key strategic problematics
3. Ensure compliance with data-related laws and regulations, mitigating risks and protecting the organization's reputation
4. Work with the local and wider global technical and business data practice to advise clients regarding their overall Data & Analytics strategy and implementations
5. Help clients get more out of their existing Data & Analytics projects, identifying solutions and services based on client needs, constraints, and strategies
6. Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model
7. Lead research and strategy creation and sponsor development of new Data & Analytics products or services to expand markets, monetize data, and grow company revenue

Requirements

1. Expertise in big data architecture and technologies, and data delivery management
2. Strong knowledge of key technologies: Informatica, Oracle, DWH, Big Data, Spark, Scala, HDFS, Kafka, Cloudera, ETL/ELT
3. Excellent knowledge of data governance, data quality, data cataloging, data migration, and data mesh
4. Proficiency in migration to cloud (preferably Google Cloud Platform - GCP)
5. Extensive experience developing and growing client relationships
6. Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team
7. Experience working with relevant delivery teams
8. Confident in expressing points of view, making recommendations, and presenting analysis and recommendations where appropriate
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
10. Fluency in written and spoken German and English
