Siemens AG is seeking a senior Cybersecurity Auditor to identify, assess and monitor cybersecurity risks, and to lead audits across IT systems, products, services and centers. As part of the global Cybersecurity Assurance function, we help Siemens to achieve their goals by providing objective, factual and independent assurance to the Siemens Managing Board and Audit Committee. We are a business partner to Siemens executive management, leveraging expertise across topics to create impactful change in a vibrant and inclusive environment.

What part will you play?

• You will identify, assess, measure and monitor Cybersecurity risks by performing hands‑on risk assessments of processes and controls. Using your strong analytical skills, you will identify security gaps and evaluate these further to identify their root causes.
• As a valuable member of the assurance team, you prepare, execute and lead Cybersecurity audits on Siemens IT systems, products, services, factories, and software development centers. During the process you highlight important observations, translate technical findings into management information so that they can take effective actions, and participate in closing meetings with senior management.
• In your new role you drive Cybersecurity in Siemens’ most innovative products, from product security features to the software development lifecycle and state‑of‑the‑art cloud environments.
• You assess the Cybersecurity governance of Siemens, including policies and processes such as incident handling and response, threat detection, vulnerability management, etc.
• You work closely with Cybersecurity experts from multiple industries to improve their solutions by tackling the root cause of issues and finding innovative solutions to modern challenges.
• Furthermore, you will drive the continuous improvement of our internal audit processes, tools and documentation, and coach junior team members.

What you need to make real what matters

• Strong academic history (Bachelor’s degree) in IT, Computer Science or related fields; certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM are a plus.
• 7+ years of working experience in the field of Cybersecurity within Siemens or a related industry, or a ‘Big 4’ accounting firm or a consultancy in the fields of IT/Cybersecurity and audit.
• Demonstrated affinity to learn about the latest trends in Cybersecurity and keep up to date in a continuously challenging environment.
• Strong communication, presentation and project management skills and the drive to find innovative solutions to be established in the audit environment.
• Subject‑matter expertise in one or more of the following domains: user & access management, application security, cloud environments, network security, vulnerability management & incident handling, system hardening, asset management, industrial security controls, secure software development.
• Experience with leveraging and integrating AI into day‑to‑day work is considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English, German or other languages is a plus.
• Demonstrates an international mindset and is open to international travel and working in a diverse team.
