Overview**Position contingent upon contract award**
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to support government contract requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Essential Job Duties- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
- Manage and mentor subordinate personnel.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 12 years’ experience.
- An active Secret security clearance with an SSBI.
- DOD Cyber Workforce (DCWF) 461 required certifications:CISSP-ISSEP or CCNA or CCSP or GICSP or GISF or GSEC or Security+ or equivalent / higher.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and infrastructure.
- Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
- Provide information to support compliance reporting requirements on cyber posture.
- Track and report status on security orders and POA&Ms.
- Perform vulnerability scans and provide reports. Maintain system registrations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
- Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.
Work Environment- Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
- Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
- May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
- It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
