As Senior Controller (m/f/d) you support the sales organizations of Hilti Central Europe and its HUB departments in organizing the entire performance steering processes. You help identify business potentials, business risks as well as opportunities for process improvements. In addition, you are responsible for the preparation, coordination, and execution of the rolling forecasts (FP&A) process and cost control activities. Furthermore, you will play a central role in the monthly closing processes, collaborating with the regional Shared Service Center. Applying your IFRS accounting knowledge, you will act as sparring partner to ensure the operational excellence in financial closing processes.

Moreover, you act as a business partner, e.g. for the Finance Management Team such as the CFO, Head of Shared Service Center or the Head of Indirect Procurement. You are an essential point of contact for questions regarding company performance (sales, margin & profit) and evaluation of business cases. Through various cross-functional and international projects, you also have a variety of opportunities to apply your conceptual skills in a targeted manner to develop and implement solutions independently and/or as part of a team.

What you need is:

• Master's degree in business administration, economics or similar qualification, ideally with a focus on finance and accounting
• 2 years of professional experience in controlling and accounting (especially budgeting/rolling forecasting, cost controlling, P&L analysis) or in finance/strategy consulting
• Ideally first experience in a team leading position
• Experience in project work, audit, (IFRS) accounting or sales controlling is an advantage
• Fluent English and good German skills, other language skills advantageous
• Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Business Objects would be an advantage
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Strategic and analytical mindset, strong communication skills
• Willingness to develop in an international environment and to take on a management position in a follow-on role
