munerio consulting GmbH sucht für einen internationalen Kunden eine Senior Control Engineering & Modeling Engineer-Position in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Sie arbeiten im globalen R&D-Team, analysieren Entwicklungen in Automatisierung, entwickeln innovative Lösungen und erstellen Modelle, MiL/HiL-Tests sowie Dokumentationen.

Gewünscht sind ein Master/PhD in relevanten Bereichen, fundierte Kenntnisse in MATLAB/Python sowie Erfahrung mit modellbasierter und hybrider Regelung.

Qualifications

• Master- oder Doktortitel im relevanten Fachgebiet (Regelungstechnik, Automatisierung, Elektrotechnik, Kybernetik oder vergleichbar).
• Fundierte praktische Erfahrungen in Regelungstechnik/Regelungstheorie, ideal mit Fokus auf modellbasierte und adaptive Regelung.
• Starke Modeling- und Simulationskompetenz technischer Systeme.
• Erfahrung in Machine Learning/Data Science, ideal mit Fokus auf ressourcenbeschränkte Anwendungen oder hybride Modelle.
• Erfahrung in elektrohydraulischen Systemen, ideal für schwere Mobilmaschinen.
• Ausgeprägtes technisches Verständnis komplexer Systeme.
• Gute Kenntnisse in MATLAB und Python.
• AmeSim-Erfahrung von Vorteil.
• Fundierte Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Responsibilities

• Überwachung und Analyse aktueller Entwicklungen in Automatisierung, Regelungstechnik und Maschinenintelligenz.
• Entwicklung und Design innovativer technischer Lösungen.
• Erstellung und Analyse dynamischer Systemmodelle (Physik-basiert und datengetrieben).
• Design und Durchführung von MiL- und HiL-Tests für modellbasierte Regelungen und KI-Anwendungen.
• Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von Softwarelösungen gemäß Entwicklungszielen.
• Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen und Berichte.
• Planung und Moderation technischer Diskussionen sowie Kommunikation der Projektergebnisse an Stakeholder.

Our client is an international innovation company specializing in hydraulic and electrified drive systems for mobile machinery. They are currently seeking a Senior Control Engineering & Modeling Engineer (all genders) to strengthen their international R&D team based in the North Rhine-Westphalia region.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Monitor and analyze the latest developments in automation, control engineering, and machine intelligence, both in academic research and industrial applications.
• Develop and design innovative technical solutions.
• Create and analyze dynamic system models using both first-principles (physics-based) and data-driven modeling approaches.
• Design and execute Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing for model-based (adaptive) control architectures and AI applications.
• Continuously develop and improve both new and existing software solutions (legacy systems) in line with defined development objectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Plan and facilitate technical discussions while presenting and communicating project results to internal stakeholders.

Ihr Profil

• Master's degree or PhD in Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybernetics, Physics, or a comparable discipline.
• Proven practical experience in control engineering/control theory , preferably with a focus on model-based and adaptive control .
• Strong expertise in the modeling and simulation of technical systems.
• Experience in Machine Learning and/or Data Science , ideally focusing on resource-constrained applications or hybrid approaches combining data-driven and physics-based models.
• Experience in the development of electro-hydraulic systems , ideally for heavy-duty mobile machinery.
• Excellent technical understanding of complex systems.
• Strong practical experience with MATLAB and Python .
• Initial experience with AmeSim is considered an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Gehalt

• €70,000 – €95,000 per year, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
