This will be your impact:

You will play a key role in advancing our sustainability agenda, implementing sustainable finance strategies, and advising management and transaction teams on ESG factors in investments.

• Define ESG Framework: Establish ESG priorities with the Sustainability team.
• Integrate and implement sustainability initiatives within the investment process.
• Manage ESG escalation processes to SFS EQ and management.
• Serve as subject matter expert on EU Taxonomy and similar regulations.
• Coordinate ESG initiatives across business units.
• Research industry best practices and market trends to lead in sustainability-related equity investments.
• Develop ESG processes and tools, including digitization efforts.
• Lead sustainability reporting activities.
• Promote ESG training programs within SFS EQ.
• Make informed, timely decisions and collaborate effectively within teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans related to ESG.

This is how you'll win us over:

• Degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Sciences, IT, or related fields; ESG qualifications preferred.
• Passionate about sustainability and understanding ESG's value in equity investments.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services, asset management, private equity, or consulting, with a focus on sustainable finance.
• Curious, ambitious, self-reflective, embracing challenges and diversity.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
