Your mission

1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
2. Maintain an analysis-driven approach in daily operations, ensuring the identification and reporting of deviations, critical issues, and potential risks.
3. Provide ad-hoc analytical support and insights to facilitate strategic decision-making and challenge department leads using analytical insights.
4. Contribute to the establishment of additional controls to enhance operational efficiency and support.
5. Assist in the annual budgeting process and conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against forecasts.
6. Drive effective communication with responsible teams regarding performance information and documentation to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
7. Execute a variety of additional administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the department and the organization.
8. Support the CFO and Finance Lead in the preparation of the financial updates presented in our shareholder meetings, as well as internal meetings.
9. Work alongside cross-functional teams to align goals, share insights, and drive initiatives that benefit the organization.

Your profile

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with focus on finance, controlling, accounting or auditing, or equivalent.
2. Solid understanding of accounting rules and principles according to HGB.
3. Professional experience of 2-3 years in a finance role in a B2B- and SaaS-based joint-venture or startup with a digital business model is an advantage.
4. Min. 2-3 years professional experience in controlling or finance.
5. Analytical skills and proactive approach.
6. Strong knowledge in Excel and Power-BI; knowledge of DATEV and Business Central or SAP is a plus.
7. Ability to think outside the box with high willingness to learn.
8. Fluent communication skills in German and English.
